About Us

YBC Poster

Burnley Youth Bowling Club (YBC) is a bowling club aimed at children from 6 to 18 years of age who love Ten Pin Bowling. It is run by volunteers who are often parents of the bowlers or adults who used to be involved with the YBC as a child, all officials are CRB checked.

We now also have a Young Adult's league (YAC) which is run along side our YBC legaues for older bowlers.

The YBC and YAC are part of the British Tenpin Bowling Association (BTBA) who governs the game of tenpin bowling in this country, every YBC & YAC have to belong to this association.

Bowler's practice bowling and bowl 3 games in a league most weeks, the results are published on the notice board at the 1st Bowl bowling centre in Burnley and on either the YBC League or YAC League pages of this website. Each league can last upto 15 weeks and at the end of each league there is a presentaion to the winners and runners up.

Sometimes, during holidays particularly, Bowler's have ‘fun’ games of bowling designed to improve their bowling skills.
